Another site just for fun

Author: jc

yeah, I have been simplifying my life and for some reason I decided to add something to complicate it some more. I have my usual site, but I really didn’t want to clutter it up with a bunch of photos I take with my phone. For that reason, I have placed this site online. Oh, and I really wanted to build something with iWeb to see what it was like.

Building a quick blog?

Author: jc

I tripped across this today and thought it was pretty good. A lot of people have blogs through blogspot or wordpress, etc.. and the all seem to look alike. This site will let you move your template around like no body’s business and you don’t have to know any code at all. It starts off with basic templates and then allows you to adjust everything about them, and I do mean everything. I didn’t do a lot to my account, but with a few basic changes it doesn’t look like any of their templates at all. The other nice thing is that they allow you to point your domain to you account and no one knows that you are using their service at all.

So if you want a quick no hassle blog that will handle media and just about anything you throw at it. Check SquareSpace.com out.

New Apt101 Site Design

Author: jc

Well, I am at it again. I have revamp the Apt101.com website one more time. I am sure this will not be the last.

With this version I have tried to simplify the site so that I will actually blog or something. I have moved from drupal to worpress (I still love drupal). In the past I have tried to do to much with it and ended up working on the back end more then actually posting. In wordpress I can concentrate on bloggin. Maybe I will do better. The site is tied into twitter.com, facebook.com, tumblr and myspace as well. That way it will take care of all my updates everywhere, and also display a lot of that content here.

So, here we go again, second verse, maybe the same as the first but hopefully not.

Let me know what you think of the design.
