New Apt101 Site Design

Well, I am at it again. I have revamp the Apt101.com website one more time. I am sure this will not be the last.

With this version I have tried to simplify the site so that I will actually blog or something. I have moved from drupal to worpress (I still love drupal). In the past I have tried to do to much with it and ended up working on the back end more then actually posting. In wordpress I can concentrate on bloggin. Maybe I will do better. The site is tied into twitter.com, facebook.com, tumblr and myspace as well. That way it will take care of all my updates everywhere, and also display a lot of that content here.

So, here we go again, second verse, maybe the same as the first but hopefully not.

Derrick Rainey preaches at CHBC

Derrick Rainey of Trinity Church in Canton preached this evening.

A crazy day with Bob Caldwell.

As many of you know my church (Colonial Heights) is without a pastor. For the next few Sundays we will have guest speakers. Today we have Bob Caldwell. Bob is the Pastor of Outreach at the First Baptist Church of Arnold.

Bob is continuing a series on evangelism that began on Pastor Mark’s last Sunday. The series is called “driven”. The series driven compares the sharing of your faith to a Nascar Race. The topic Bob is covering today is the “Pit Crew”.

In this series the pit Crew is your support mechanism. In Nascar each driver is determined to win the race, but they are not the only ones involved in the race. When the driver is tired, needs work on the car, needs gas or a tire change he turns to his pit crew to keep him going and lift his spirits. (more…)

A flat tire

So yeah, I took Stacy to Natchez today and about 30 minutes out it happened. It only took about 10 minutes to change. Not very eventful, but it happened.

Starting again.

Here we go, time to simplify and start over again.  A brand new website. I realized that I kept building my site in a way that I could expand and grow them in more ways then I knew what to do with.  That meant I spent more time trying to create stuff for the site then blogging.  Now it is just a blog.  That should help a lot.  I can’t do anything extra.  Just blog.
